Consultation has concluded

Park improvements are on the way for Westland Park, located at 1690 Owens St., in Ward 1. City staff hosted a public meeting on August 1, 2019 to better understand resident's desired amenities for the park. Staff then reviewed meeting results and survey responses to determine appropriates uses and amenities. A site plan is now available below with construction anticipated to begin in the spring of 2021. Westland Park is a diamond in the rough, a small park perched on a hill above the Westland Shopping Center. Westland Park is funded for a master planning process to determine the future of this small park space.

    Quail Street and Westland Park Improvements Survey

    As a neighbor or park visitor, we are asking for your input by Friday, August 30, 2019.

    The future Quail Street Park improvements are intended to be completed in 2020. Feedback for Westland Park will inform a master plan with park improvements occurring when funding allows.
