Over the past few years, the city of Lakewood has increasingly received inquiries from residents about their ability to use their homes as short-term rentals, which are currently not allowed in Lakewood. Short-term rentals are considered rentals of individual rooms or an entire home for 30 days or less. The city of Lakewood is requesting public comment on whether to allow short-term rentals (STR) in residential neighborhoods. City Council would like to hear the potential positive and negative impacts you think short-terms rentals may have on your neighborhoods.
