March 2025 City Council Study Session

On March 3, 2025, staff presented details of a proposed benchmarking program to Lakewood's City Council. The recording can be watched here. Staff is currently evaluating an energy benchmarking program that would apply to all commercial, multifamily, and public buildings 10,000 SF and larger in Lakewood. Because the City's DOE grant award supporting this program remains under a conditional status and funds cannot be accessed yet, the timeline for presenting a benchmarking ordinance to City Council for consideration has been delayed.
