Glen Creighton Park

This adorable little park does not have a parking lot, so might be best for bike riders or local folks. I really enjoyed how peaceful it was, even so close to Colfax. I saw a robin and a yellow butterfly, and heard spotted towhees and a Northern flicker. I liked all the oak trees.

Daniels Park

Aviation Park

All the references to aviation were so fun to look for and find! It was a hot day, so I greatly appreciated the shade of several large trees on the small walking path. I recommend listening to the audio tour link that you can find on the neighborhood/park info kiosk. My favorite art installation was the stegosaurus plates.
