East Reservoir

I thought the two Little Free Libraries were so cute. My next personal challenge should be to bring books with me when I go to the parks.

I heard some chickadees, talked with a really loud red-winged blackbird, and enjoyed walking close to the edge of the water.

Sutherland Shire Park

Some kids were having the time of their life at the playground area. I liked this red sign, the flowers, and how close this park is to Main reservoir.According to the rock in the shape of Australia, Sutherland Shire is Lakewood's sister city, and it's located in New South Wales. Interesting.

Cottonwood Park

Some folks were having a great time fishing at the lake. I sat on a bench and watched ducks while a thunderstorm rolled in behind me. There was an abundance of geese at this park. 🙂
