Sod installation at Wright Park

The beautiful weather is helping the grass grow at Wright Park! The open lawn area sod has been installed and the southern portion of the park has been seeded with native seed.

The traffic cones in Wright Street are to allow for the drinking fountain, water tap, and drain inlet replacement; and the ‘bump outs’ will support safer crossings to and from Wright Park across the street.

Most of the play equipment is installed with the safety surface installation occurring in the new year. The remainder of the loop trail, park shelters, dog park and landscaping will be ongoing throughout the winter. Fencing will be removed when areas of the park are safe for resident's enjoyment. In the meantime, for your safety, stay outside of the fenced areas. Construction is anticipated to be complete this spring.
