All aboard at Idlewild park

In 2020 during the signs of uncertainty and fear due to covid, sports for our children were canceled and our favorite play places were closed or limited. We were ecstatic when we found a new train-themed park built near our home! We were over the moon about something new and fun to experience! Our children were wearing masks at school but they were able to enjoy the fresh air almost daily at the this happy park. As healthcare professionals, my husband and I looked forward to spending our time at the beautiful park our children came to love. It was a time of relaxation and peace. We still go there often and enjoy the huge grassy area and equipment. Thank you city of Lakewood!
